Come explore over 60 restored exhibit areas from the engine room to the flight deck. Walk on deck and touch the fighters, bombers, and helicopters. Be sure to climb aboard aircraft, take flight in one of the simulators or just excite in the views of San Diego downtown and bay from the flight deck. If you get hungry, there is a self-service bistro.
Includes: Escort on foot from the hotel (7 minutes / .4 miles) and admission to the USS Midway Museum.

An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, the Museum houses a collection of historic aircraft and spacecraft from all over the world. Mint condition aircraft include a Spitfire Mk. XVI, a Navy F6F Hellcat, and an A-4 Skyhawk jet - these beautifully restored airplanes help you appreciate the increasingly complex technology represented in the classic military aircraft of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.
Roundtrip travel from the hotel to the museum is at the attendees' discretion. The museum is located in Balboa Park, a 3.4 miles/15-minute transfer by car from the hotel. Uber to/from the museum for about $8. Go early and enjoy the Park on your own.
Includes: Admission, private guided docent tour, reception with a cash bar, and a casual Italian fare dinner buffet.
